In a bucolic Brooklyn park Kris and Danny meet for their children's first play date. While commiserating, a precarious emotional relationship forms between them, but when one of their children is inexplicably injured, the sequential fall-out incites their spouses, Donna and Veronica, along a self-destructive path in search of the superfluous truth. DKDV is an off-beat meditation on the confounding buisness of contemporary parenthood.
DANNYKRISDONNAVERONICA was chosen as part of Primary Stages 2015 ESPAdrills program, workshopped at Teresa Rebeck's Vermont writer's retreat, and presented as a staged-reading at the DUKE on 42nd st (Directed by Shelly Butler, Assistant Director Alex Keegan, featuring Sarah Nina Hayon, Rebecca Henderson, Alfredo Narciso, Christina Norris, and Jeanine Serralles).
